Factory Audit

A factory audit is a comprehensive on-site evaluation of a manufacturer's production capabilities, quality management systems, and operational practices. It answers a fundamental question for international buyers: can this factory consistently produce quality products at the required volume?

Our experienced auditors assess the factory across multiple dimensions: quality management system implementation (ISO 9001 or equivalent), production capacity and equipment condition, raw material handling and storage, in-process quality controls, testing and calibration capabilities, worker training and competency, warehouse and finished goods management, and health and safety practices.

Each area is scored on a standardized rating system from A (excellent) to D (critical deficiencies), giving you an objective benchmark to compare suppliers. The audit report includes detailed findings, photographs, and specific improvement recommendations that you can share directly with the factory.

Factory audits are essential before establishing a new supplier relationship, particularly for buyers sourcing from unfamiliar regions or industries. Regular follow-up audits — annually or after significant production changes — help ensure that quality standards are maintained over time.
